These photos show a variety of the nuthatch wall hangings that are representative of the many I have made and continue to make.  It is a lot of fun to use special pieces of wood that are not suitable for carving, arrange carved nuthatches on them, and turn them into interesting wall hangings.  Some are old boards, some are sections of logs, some are unusual slices of wood.   Nuthatches are little birds that walk in every-which-direction on the trunks of trees–their antics are fun to watch!  The photo at lower right shows some of my wall hangings that were exhibited at the Delaplaine Art Center in Frederick, Maryland.
