Chestnut vases. These two vases are typical of vases I turn from old chestnut wood rails from split-rail fences.  They are about a foot tall. The 5/8-inch diameter hole goes about two-thirds of the way  down. They cannot hold water, but make a stunning vase for a dried arrangement.
