Many of the carvings in the photos on the site (my “electronic portfolio”) are likely to have been already purchased.  I may have a similar carving in the same or another kind of wood that you can purchase.  Otherwise, you may commission an entirely new and/or different carving (so long as it is a bird).  I will be happy to prepare drawings of a proposed carving for your approval.  Because each carving is individually hand crafted, some from very old logs or beams, it may take me 30 days or more to plan and complete the carving of your choice.  

Prices:  The price of a particular carving depends upon the type of wood and the condition and shape of the original piece of wood.  (For example, carvings from round wood, such as logs, cost more, as do large carvings and carvings from vintage woods, such as American chestnut.)  Because of these variables, I do not list prices.  However, as a guide, the least costly are the “little birds” in “Back-Yard Birds,” which retail for $18, while the larger eagle carvings in “Birds of Prey” may be as much as several thousand dollars.    Please read the information on carvings in American chestnut.  

Paying:  You may pay with cash, a personal check, or with  Mastercard or VISA.

Taxes:  Maryland residents are required to pay 6% sales tax.

Refunds:  I assure you that you will be satisfied.  (I hope you are more than just satisfied—I hope you are excited to own an individually handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, solid wood carving!)  However, if you are not satisfied with a carving and you return it undamaged within 10 days after you receive it, I will refund your money (less any shipping charges).
